Important Update July 12th:
All Build-A-Bear Workshop Bonus Club members in the U.S. and Canada now have access to a $15 off voucher in their online account that must be printed or screenshot by midnight on July 15. Vouchers honored through August 31st. For more details, see the Build-a-Bear Workshop events page.
Stay-at-home, work-from-home, or parents of kids home from school for the Summer, rejoice – this Thursday, July 12th is the first ever “Pay Your Age Day” sale at your in-store Build-A-Bear™ Workshop. This applies to ANY make-your-own furry friend in store (no rainchecks).
Perhaps you have $69.99-for-$100 of Build-a-Bear gift cards from Costco Wholesale burning a hole in your wallet? Now’s the time to redeem those!
For the best possible selection, you’ll want to be lined up and waiting at your nearest Build-a-Bear when it opens on Thursday. See the Build-a-Bear web site for local store hours.
Parents, guardians, caretakers, you will need to be part of the free-to-join Build-A-Bear Bonus Club to participate. (Children under the age of 18 cannot be members directly). Children must be present to accompany you to the store. No limit to the number of children that join you at the store, only limit is one stuff-your-own creature per child. You will pay each individual child’s age (plus tax) for their furry friend. Minimum purchase price of just $1. Outfits and accessories will be at their regular price, sold separately – and be careful, because those items can add up! The stuffed animal deal cannot be combined with any other offer. However, if you happen to be sitting on Build-a-Bear gift cards purchased at Costco for their lowest, on-sale price, you’ll essentially be getting another 30% off your creature. (Build-a-Bear $100 [four $25] gift cards at Costco are marked down from $79.99 to $69.99 occasionally throughout the year).
Build-a-Bear Workshop is holding its first ever Pay Your Age Day sale on Thursday, July 12th for Bonus Club members. The Bonus Club is free to join. #buildabear #payyourageday Share on XTake my children’s ages for example: my 7-month-old son could build a dinosaur for just $1 and my 2.5-year-old daughter could build a bear for just $2. That’s just $3 total and potentially HUGE savings off the usual in-store price of $10-$35 per creature.
Once you stuff your bear, you can fluff it up (groom it), dress it, name it to get a birth certificate to commemorate your excursion.
And, yes, you can buy the shell of the creature on Thursday and come back to stuff it later, if the line is just way too long.
No in-store guest will be considered over 29-years-old on Thursday. So, if you’re over 29 (like me), you can still score great savings for yourself.
Some exclusions apply and you’ll need to see an associate for further details.
