Online Shopping Savings Resources

Note that many of these sites and plug-ins give you deals and discounts in exchange for your acceptance of cookies to follow your online interactions. This helps tailor ads to you online and across connected devices. Some find it creepy, some find it helpful. Up to you. Just know this before you proceed.

Amazon.com/Coupons – find all the active coupons available throughout Amazon.com on one easy to reference page

BradsDeals.com – still my absolute favorite daily deals email; only catch is that you may not be in-market for many of the items in the email recap and/or the deals may be gone by the time the email hits your inbox or you have a chance to sift through it

CamelCamelCamel.com – Amazon price tracker and Amazon price history; get email alerts when particular items you’re eyeing drop below the price you need

ClarkDeals.com – Clark Howard, the financial guru, has a team on the ground vetting and posting real deals for consumers

CouponCabin.com – a great place to search for coupons, where crowdsourced votes lead you to the most current and active deals

Coupons at Checkout – a browser plugin that will automatically find and submit coupon codes at checkout for you

DealNews.com – curated and emailed list of live deals across the web

Ebates.com* – cash back at many online retailers (you can usually stack this with coupons)

Entertainment.com – join their email list to find out about book deals throughout the year; when you purchase a coupon book (at a discount), you’ll also get online access to hundreds of national and local coupons

FakeSpot.com – analyze and identify fake reviews

Honey – a web browser plugin that will automatically find and submit coupon codes at checkout for you

InvisibleHand – automatically get the lowest price on shopping, flights, hotels & rental cars, with this web browser add-on

Keepa.com – comprehensive Amazon price history graphs, price drop & availability alerts, deals

Paribus – browser plugin which syncs with your email to scan for receipts and negotiates with online companies to refund the difference if there is a price drop or negotiate for compensation on late deliveries

RetailMeNot.com – a great place to search for coupons, where crowdsourced votes lead you to the most current and active deals; you can set up alerts for your favorite retailers

ShopItToMe.com – learn how it works first here, in my ShopItToMe.com blog post

SnagShout.com – what started out as Amazon deals in exchange for your unbiased review is simply the deals part without the requirement of the review (however it would still be nice to help out the small businesses, if you are so inclined to do so)

Wikibuy.com – a browser plugin that will automatically find and submit coupon codes at checkout for you, search the web to see if Amazon items in your cart can be found less expensively at other sites, and automatically applies your Ebates.com rebate link for you

Note: Affiliate off-site links are used in order to help support this blog site.

*Please read Ebates’ fine print. I’m quite sure they are selling your non-personal data (purchase data) to companies in order to target you with relevant advertising. For me, this is a small price to pay for the deals we get. You have to weigh the pro’s and the con’s with any of these reward services. And, know that your data is being sold anyway (often by your store reward card or credit card company…everything leaves a digital footprint), so it might be nice to make some money off the sale of your data! Everyone wants a piece of your data – sell to the highest bidder is what I do.
